School in the Woods Turkey Trot

I love that first picture. That’s Luke’s truly surprised face since he didn’t know I was coming to watch him participate in the Turkey Trot. All of the kids spent an hour running and earning tally’s for each leg of the run that they completed. It turned out to be a beautiful day and a well attended event. Luke did a great job running. Love this experience for my Luke boy.

Luke’s 10th Birthday

Since Luke’s birthday was going to be over our Thanksgiving Trip to St. George, we asked him if he wanted an early birthday celebration at home, or if he wanted us to bring his presents on the trip. He picked an early celebration. He did not know, however, when it would be. On a Friday afternoon (right after Katie’s pin removal surgery) we decided to surprise him. When he got home from school at 4:45 the presents were out and ready. He was pretty excited!

Matthew gave him a BB-9E figurine… a new droid from the new movie coming out in December.

From Emily and Megan he got some more figurines – Luke Skywalker, Rey, Chewy and BB8. : )

From Katie he got the new SPIDERMAN movie – which he hadn’t seen. From Mom and Dad he got ROUGE ONE for iTunes and tickets to see STAR WARS The Last Jedi in the theater when it comes out! He also got a new Star Wars T-shirt that didn’t quite get here in time, and a Winter Coat! Fun to celebrate with this excited and happy kid.

As soon as the presents were opened Dad ordered pizza from Marco’s, Luke and I went down to Nothing Bundt Cakes and picked out a double chocolate chip cake (so good!) and we watched SPIDERMAN. Such a fun family night!

Fall Pride Soccer Season for Bob

A great season for Bob. After try-outs in May Bob got moved up from the Red team to the United team with Coach Rob. She’s doing really well. Everyone loves Bob.
