We hosted our 5th Annual Halloween Soup and Trick or Treating Party this year. Fun to have so many friends from Cordera come and join us. Jacksons, Hales, Larsons, Sidwells, Theurers, Greenwoods, Kinnairds, Richins, Wyeths, Bosses and Roys. Friends brought crockpot soups, salads, and rolls and we ate and visited for an hour. At 6:00 we gathered the kids for a picture on the stairs and then they took off in groups every different direction. This year Luke, Matt, Ian, Anders, and Cade took off and ended up with Kaden Greenwood. They had a blast! When they all got back to the house they headed downstairs to watch Hotel Transylvania 3 along with several other kids as they trickled in. Luke walked in the door and said, “This is the BEST Halloween EVER!! Mom, I don’t really even care about the candy. I just think it’s fun to go around and show everybody my costume.” The Richins and Mindy and Ashley Neilson and the Redd’s hung out till the end of the movie and we talked and ate pumpkin bars and caramel apple cider. Fun night!!

Alvin and the Chipmunks
Brynnley, Charlee and Megan wanted to be Simon, Alvin and Theordore this year. It’s all about t-shirts, leggings and cute socks for these teens. Instead of buying the shirts online we got peel and stick foam and I cut the letters out while watching a movie. I love that they already had matching vans. The teens started at our house for soup and then took off with friends for trick or treating and ended up at Brynnley’s house for a party. : )
Hobbit Halloween
This was a fun Halloween. The boys were pretty excited about being Hobbits. I couldn’t find anything great online, so I borrowed a few things from some friends, picked up a vest from the Goodwill and made matching cloaks. It was a hit.
They had no trouble at all convincing Anders and Ian to be Hobbits with them. It only makes sense that there are four of them… Froto, Sam, Meri and Pippin. It was a blizzard on Halloween Eve so there was snow all over the grass. They took pictures on the rocks but their little feet were freezing! (Matt’s face!)
