These boys were pretty excited to be Mario and Luigi. for Halloween. They had it perfectly worked out months before – Luke would be Luigi and Matt would be Mario because the initials of their first names matched their hats. I love it! They have fun dressing up together. Ryan missed seeing these boys in person but sure loved seeing the pictures on his mission. Real Mario Brothers. Luke – almost 9 years old. Matthew – 7 1/2 years old.
Megan and Brynn had fun coming up with a matching costume. We bought the shirts and they made the skirts over at Brynn’s house. Last minute we got a costume for Emily so she could join in the fun. Cute girls – Megan – 11 years old, Emily – almost 14 years old and Brynn – 12 years old.
We hosted Halloween dinner with lots of friends. Hales, Burrs, Kinnards, Wyeths, Sidwells and Larsons. After soup, bread, chips and veggies the kids split up into different groups and headed out to treat or treat – with or without the dads. Katie and friends ended up at Maggie’s house for a Halloween party after. A couple families came back over after Trick or Treating for Pumpkin Bars. It was a fun night – and really warm, which was so nice. We’ve had the best fall weather this year and we were grateful it lasted to Halloween and beyond.
