For our last day at Disney, we headed back to the Magic Kingdom. We had nice blue skies and perfect temperature. Even though we were pretty exhausted from a full week we got up early and were at the gates before it opened. The lines are so much shorter for the first couple of hours. Katie started throwing up in the night – poor girl – so she ended up staying home in the morning to sleep and gain some energy.
Another Disney pic from our photopass…
Chris and my kids with most of the Starbuck kids headed straight to Thunder Mountain Railroad for a couple of rides while Aaron and Monae took their little boys on the Aladdin Ride. Then we met up for Splash Mountain some other Toon Town rides…
Rapunzel’s tower and Emily in front of the Castle…
Chris and the kids headed to Space Mountain while Emily and I took off to do some Disney shopping and maybe buy some souvenirs. When we spotted an ice cream parlor Emily wanted to spend some of her money on a double scoop ice cream cone. We sat at a cute little white table with Aaron, Monae and their little boys while they ate their treats and then headed up Main Street to do some shopping.
Watching the parade go by as we met up with the rest of the group…
Right when we were leaving the park we caught Snow White at the perfect time.
We headed back to the hotel for a good afternoon nap and to check on Katie – who was starting to feel a little bit better. Then several hours later we grabbed some food and headed back into the park for the evening – Katie included!! Shorter lines again as we closed the Park! (Disney picture below from our photopass…)
Tinkerbelle flew over right when we were getting our picture taken… thanks to our photo pass.
We had fast passes for Rapunzel and Cinderella --
We rode a ton of rides and then watched the Fireworks over the castle. Such a magical Day!!!
We got to bed late once again and then Chris started throwing up. In the morning he was still pretty sick so he slept while the kids and I packed up. When we checked out he was still feeling pretty bad but he drove us to Downtown Disney and tried to sleep in the van while we walked around and grabbed some lunch. It was a busy day and we ended up waiting for 45 minutes to get pretzels and slushy lemonades. I guess it wasn’t the best idea to go to Disney over spring break!
Luke and Matt with the Lego Sea Monster…
We drove back to the Starbucks house in Columbus, Georgia and finalized our packing before staying up late talking. We made Ryan and Brianna and Katie and Austin say goodbye to each other at midnight and then we headed to bed. We were up at the crack of dawn to catch our plane. What a fun week! Thanks for hosting us before and after, Starbucks!!
