Day Two was the Magic Kingdom and boy, was it magical. A train full of characters stopped at the entrance and waved and sang to us as we entered the park. Pretty exciting to see Elsa and Anna and we always love seeing Cinderella’s stepsisters!
Heading down mainstream we stopped for a picture. We are a large crowd. Matching mickey shirts was really fun.
The Dumbo Ride
The Mad Tea Party Ride
Tomorrowland Indy Speedway
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
{We were in line too long for this ride and some of the other mid day rides since it was Spring Break. I just remembered that for the whole 45 minutes we talked to Monae about our opportunity to take the job in Vegas. At this point we were leaning to not taking it but it was still so good to talk it out since we are alike in how we think about things. }
We ate lunch while watching for Woody and Jessie pictures and then took some matching Mickey shirt pictures as well.
The girls: Brooke, Megan, Abby, Ericka and Emily
The boys: Scotty, Luke, Matt and Ryan
Getting our books signed…
We got really good seats for the parade and watched the last couple of minutes of the character show at the castle.
The Parade
Matthew fell asleep on my lap and missed the entire parade. When Snow White spotted him asleep she clapped her hands, made a sleeping action and then brought ‘Sleepy’ right over to see him. Sleepy bent over and gave him a little pat and nodded his head. It was so cute.
Over to Splash Mountain. Love that ride.
One of our favorite things from the whole day was the evening Dance Party with Mr. and Mrs. Incredible. The music was great and the kids had so much fun dancing. Luke ended up starting a Congo Line and Mr. and Mrs. Incredible joined in!
The big kids had lots of energy that night and will the lines short again they couldn’t pass up the opportunity to run from ride to ride and go on everything again. Luke and Matt, who were getting pretty tired followed me to the exit and we found a place to sit and wait for the the big kids. They ended up falling asleep on my lap at midnight. It was a long 16 hour day in the park – but so fun!!
