Matthew has been SO excited for his birthday. He picked out his storm trooper wrapping paper two months ago and was so excited for a Star Wars birthday. Matt and I got to share our special day since it was Mother’s Day as well. No sleeping in for me, Matt crept into my room at 7:00am and whispered, “Mom, I’m SEVEN!!” I love it that he was so excited. Such a great day – for both of us.

Matthew loves Hot Wheels and for some reason specifically looks on the bottom of the car to make sure they are Hot Wheels. He loved his Hot Wheels track at Christmas so Luke and Megan went in together to get him a Star Wars Hot Wheels track. He was pretty excited.
A tin wind up Darth Vader from Grandma and Grandpa Walton. This kid is so fun to watch open presents. Of course he loved it!!

Matt was pretty excited about his app controlled BB8. It’s the cutest! It beeps and talks and rolls around. He even relays recorded messages and reacts while he watches the movie. So fun!
I got a yummy Mother’s Day breakfast with a croissant, fruit, orange juice and a chocolate bar and so so many wonderful cards. Chris even surprised me with an overnight trip to Denver with friends. I’m so excited. I am so happy to be mother to these amazing kids. Being a mom is exactly the best job ever!
