Rain girl

"Mom, is she just here in case there's ever rain?... she's been waiting for a long time." Emily

This is one of our favorite statues along Broadway downtown Columbus. We see it every time we turn the corner to go to ballet. And although we have had some hurricane-induced rain here lately, I guess it has not been on ballet days. Most of the time, she wears red shiny boots in the glorious sunshine.
