It was fun to be with Amy and Chris on Peter’s Blessing Day – and have so much family there as well. Chris Silva gave Peter a beautiful blessing and also bore his testimony later in the meeting. Neat to be there to hear it. Mom and I also sobbed through a wonderful Relief Society Meeting. Amy would have too if she had been there. The three of us can sure get emotional. After church we went back to Amy’s house, took pictures, ate a Sweet and Sour Chicken dinner and Elisha’s cookies, relaxed, talked about new houses for Scott and Elisha, played with the kids and planned our summer vacation. So fun to be together.

The whole weekend was so much fun. I flew in on Thursday night straight from Colorado Springs, which was so nice. Dad picked me up and drove me back down to Amy’s house in Provo. We did lots of hanging out, holding Peter and playing with Jane. It was fun to overlap my trip with my parents.
That Jane is such a cutie when she scrunches up her nose and smiles. She’s at such a fun age.
It was fun to spend lots of time with Scott and Elisha and kids too. Friday afternoon I visited Scott at his new office and then we went up to Scott’s house on Friday night and enjoyed a great ham and macaroni and cheese dinner and then carrot cake to celebrate Brian’s birthday. He drove over from Rexburg to meet us and spend the weekend – which was so fun. He was excited about the 7 Wonders present we gave him! Happy Birthday, Brian!
Lots of fun playing Seafarers together – lots of laughing tonight. Love these people!
I drove back to Amy’s with Brian. Saturday we stayed home in the morning and got some stuff done around the house. In the afternoon I went with Mom and Dad to meet up with Scott and do a little house looking… always fun! We ordered pizza and then hung out with everyone. We played Settlers, Yatzee (which I stink at) and Dominion. It was fun to have one last day with just me and Amy before she drove me to the airport Monday night. Café Rio lunch and lots of great talks. So fun to see her with her two kids! Thanks for having me, Silvas!
My kids were so jealous I got to hang out with these people!
