Looking back at the season Megan said, “Mom, I definitely made the right decision to stay back with my team.” She had been offered a place in a higher level team but decided to stay back to spend one more season with her friends. Most of them have been on the same team for three years now and it’s a fantastic group of girls. This is the last season they will be all together – changes in the league will be splitting them up into calendar year birthdays instead of school year birthdays and they’ll be playing a year of 9v9 instead of 11v11 and so there will be more divisions and smaller teams. Coach Kristie and Coach Emily coached them this season and we were lucky to have them. Great season, Bob!
I already posted about this but wanted to include these pictures so that they were all together… Bob’s team ended up winning the Pueblo pre-season Tournament in February. It was an exciting start to the season.
Some of these pictures are mine, but most of them are from another team mom who took pics at every game. Grateful to have some pictures to remember the season.
