Pretty much the kids have gone from pjs to bathing suit to clothes (several sets since the girls have been digging through their clothes for wardrobe changes and fashion shows) back to bathing suits and straight into pajamas again. We've swam several times a day and the kids have loved every minute. We've taken a break from the pool a few times to hit the community park and splash pad. Here in 108 degree Vegas... it's all about water.
Emily is a fish. She's loved practicing her strokes and gives me the thumbs up when pops up out of the water. The girls have outlasted the boys almost everyday. Their favorite? ... being dolpins and mermaids of course.
Carter and Ryan are all about being thrown in the water or pushed, diving for torpedos, having Luke try to tag them in his floatie thing, and playing all kinds of games.
Ryan loves to help Luke have fun. He sat him on the alligator and Luke wouldn't take his eyes off the spout where the water comes out. Then when it did start spraying Ryan got him drenched. No complaints though. He loves the water!
All the kids... Jake, Ryan, Josh, Carter, Megan, Emily, Hanna, Katie and Luke.

Looks like so much fun. I know Geneva was really excited for your family to arrive. Her house is great and with a fun pool. Have a great vacation. By the way I thought your airport post was so funny!
Oh, how I love just playing in backyard pools! Here is a fun pool game that we played growing up in our backyard: It's called Toothpick. Divide into two teams (usually girls vs. boys:) and one person jumps in and places a toothpick at the bottom of the pool. Then everyone stands on the side of the pool looking for the toothpick to float to the top. Once you see it, you can jump in and try to grab it, but if you miss it, you have to get back out of the pool to look for it. You can't just stay and swim around looking for it. We played tons of pool games, but this was always our favorite.
