Balloon Glow

On Friday night we went up to Robin Lake at Callaway Gardens for the annual Labor Day Weekend Hot Air Balloon Festival. We wandered through the big balloons, and crowds of people that surrounded them, and headed around the lake to the perfect grassy area jetting out into the water. There we laid a blanket and sat to eat snacks and wait for the sun to set. When it was dark the fun started. Given a signal the crowd shouted, "Five, four, three, two, one!" and each hot air balloon was given a burst of fire that lit up all the balloons. It was really fun to see. Next year maybe we'll go back on Saturday when they all take off. We love our Callaway Gardens!

That looks really cool. Haylee and I loved Callaway Gardens too. I wish we had something like that in Utah.

There was an annual balloon glow in St Louis that we went to, and it was amazing. The balloons are huge! And it's beautiful to see them all lite up. Glad you had fun!

Callaway Gardens is seriously an awesome place. What fun. Oh, my kids would have loved that. We are looking forward to the 82nd airbourne jump show. I guess they do it a couple times a year when the ALL jump at virtually the same time. Should be pretty cool.
