Not Mike… Katie. But in all the party commotion this is who I got – and somehow missed the main girl. Thanks for standing in, Mike. Katie’s birthday party was PART 2 of the big family gathering. She was nice enough to let Megan infringe on her day for her baptism and as soon as the luncheon was over we started into cake and presents.
Katie’s cake was a COSTCO cake picked up right before closing the night before AND it was the only one left so we were very grateful to have it. Here she is blowing out ALL THOSE CANDLES!!
Katie is pretty easy to shop for. The #1 thing she wanted is book 2 of THE SELECTION, which is THE ELITE. She had it finished within a couple of days – even though she tried to make it last. It’s always so sad when a good book is over. While she was in Colorado she and Dad shopped for a case for her iTouch.
Perfect for an official teenager: her own curling iron, blow dryer, flat iron, earrings and $80.00 towards a shopping trip for clothes. Happy girl. We love you Kate!
