Scott, Elisha, Dan and Sarah woke up early and were in the Eiffel Tower line early to avoid the huge crowd… oh, and that was AFTER Chris and Elisha went running to the Eiffel Tower, Arch de Triomphe and back to the apartment. I opted to sleep in and relax. We went to the top last time and a little more sleep sounded like a welcome alternative to me. We did, however, meet them at the bottom for one last Eiffel Tower photo shoot. Seriously, do we take enough pictures? Ah, we have so much fun together.
Dan, Sarah, Scott and Elisha were having all kinds of fun doing jumping shots.
After they took a bunch of pictures, Scott and Elisha took a look at them in their camera… and Elisha started laughing hysterically and couldn’t stop. Then she’d look at some more and then laugh all over again. It was SOOO funny, wasn’t it Lish?
Since we were in the neighborhood, we had to come over and have our very favorite crepes one more time before leaving. And while waiting in line we got to see people filming some kind of a movie or TV show. It was pretty cool – we watched for a while before heading on.
Our last ‘must-do’ was to walk down Rue Cler… a picturesque streets with markets, flower shops, and eateries lining both sides. We found a perfect little bakery and ordered some great pastries and desserts.
These little raspberry and cream pastries were first ordered by Scott. He let us have a bite – it was divine. I had to go right back in and order one – and Scott ordered another one for the road. My chocolate éclair was divine too! What a place! You really can’t go wrong with a chocolate and strawberry crepe with whipped cream and then these two for dessert. Au Revoir Paris!
