We celebrated Matthew’s birthday a day early and squished it in-between a soccer game and a fun outing to Strasbourg, France. We ate sandwiches, chips and strawberry kiwi soda. For Matthew’s cupcakes I took my sister-in-laws yummy trifle recipe and changed it up for cupcakes. Angel food cupcakes… cream cheese whipping cream for the icing… and cup up strawberries piled on top. Our favorite. That ‘icing’ is to die for… Matthew loves it too.
Matthew liked the candles and knew just what to do. Luke was very impressed.
We were so impressed he blew his candles out so fast we clapped and cheered… he was so cute!
‘Oh, I hope I get something good!’
Matthew got one present from us… a big box of dinosaurs. He was so busy playing he wouldn’t even look up once… especially because Luke was telling him to. I think these dinos are going to get some great play time.
Matthew also got spoiled with LOTS of books from both Grandparents and visiting aunts! Thank you for ALL the presents, everyone!!

Matthew is so yummy in his birthday pictures. I love your pennants....I gotta do that for Jake's baptism. Those dinosaurs look so amazing. I want to play with them! What a cutie pie!
Happy Birthday Matthew! Wow I cannot believe is already two! I loved those photos and his smile and excitement. So fun!
He is seriously too cute! Love the picture when everyone is clapping for him. Happy Birthday precious little Matthew!
It was a fun party, with extra yummy cupcakes. I love that picture of him roaring with his dinosaur...although I know how loud (or not loud) that roar actually is. So glad we could be there to celebrate!
It was so much fun to be there for Matthew's party. He is seriously so cute!
He is so cute! I can't believe how big he is already. He has the cutest expressions on his face. So fun to see his cute little personality coming out. Happy Birthday Matthew!
