Luke and Matt and I spent the morning at Emily and Megan’s school field day. They had different grades go at different times so we lucked out that the Multiage 1/2 split got to go with the 3rd graders so that Megan and Emily were on the field at the same time. We wandered from Emily’s class to Megan’s class, back and forth every ten minutes to see them both at all their stations. All the stations were fun. I’m just loving having the kids in a DODEAS school – they have great activities!
Emily and her team full of boys won the water relay. She picked being on Andrew’s team because she “knew they’d win”.
I just love to see how excited Megan is to be with her little brothers at school. It’s a special treat – and she gets lots of attention with all her friends doting on her ‘cute little brothers’. Mrs. Dysinger let Luke have a turn at the bike relay too.
After field day we went to the cafeteria to eat lunch with Megan and Emily. A special treat for all of us!
