Megan’s Book Cafe

All the Multi-age classes got to participate in the ‘End of the Year Book Café… which means Megan got to participate this year.  They’ve been working hard on going through the writing process and publishing their own books.  To celebrate it they all decorated chef hats, wore black skirts/pants and white shirts with red aprons and invited their families to the Book Café.  When we entered the Café we were greeted by our own personal hostess/server who found us a table, took down our order of muffins and fruit and then gave us ‘menus’ of all the books we could read while we ate.  We read Megan’s book about SOCCER and then some of her friends books.  On the tables were post-it notes so we could give praise to the authors.  It was such a great event and so well attended.  It was a fun morning!  I’m hoping Emily gets into Multi-age next year too.
