Wednesday we got all ready and drove an hour to the Napali Coast at the northern end of the island.
We started out at the trail head by Ke’e Beach and hiked the Kalalau Trail for two miles until we got to Hanakapi’ai Beach – and then turned around and headed the two miles back. It was a really gorgeous hike.

The Richins took the boys in their car and headed to go get fresh Hawaiian fruit from a fruit stand. We started driving the hour home but when we passed Kealia Beach we couldn’t resist stopping to enjoy the beach at sunset. Such a fun day. The kids did not want to stop running in and out of the waves. It was the perfect sandy beach with no rocks. The perfect evening!
