Our roads through the fields are beautiful with snow too. Usually when we drive past this large tree we break into one of our favorite Walton family songs… “3 Charcoal Buzzards… sitting in a dead tree.” The number changes according the number of birds we actually see sitting in the tree. There are always a lot of birds in the fields. We see big hawks sitting in the trees all the time.
They don’t plow these field roads when it snows, so it can be quite slippery. Because of that we’ve been driving through the town instead but it’s just not as pretty… and a bit slower.
Over the bridge and into Sankt Leon.
