Several times the last couple of weeks we’ve taken walks or bike rides into our fields. Megan loves to lead us to the horses. She and I went on a walk by ourselves one day and named all 8 of them. Now we visit them frequently and call them by name… our names! Our horses don’t seem to mind and several wander over to say hi. We’re loving the beautiful nights here.
These bushes near our playground are a favorite. A German neighbor told us we could go ahead and eat them and so my kids have stocked up every time they go play. They’re kind of like mini plums.
