Grandma and Grandpa Johnson just left on Thursday. We were lucky enough to have them here for a week. They watched the kids while Chris and I went into the hospital to have Matthew. They came to visit in the hospital and brought flowers. They took the kids home so Chris could spend more time with me. They went to a Mother Daughter luncheon (check Katie's blog). They celebrated Mother's Day with us. They made lasagna. They put kids to bed. They went to ballet. They drove the kids to school every morning. They watched Megan and Luke while we made frequent trips to the hospital. They brought books for the kids. They went to gymnastics. They held Matthew in his biliblanket. They went to Ryan's 5th grade success night. They made dinners. They went to Ryan's soccer game. They made a treasure hunt with treats. They watched movies with us. They went to horseback riding lessons. They got up early and let us sleep in.
And we loved having them. Thanks for everything Grandma and Grandpa.

That is so wonderful that they could be there. What a great help, and so much fun. Great pictures.
All I can think is that no wonder they only stayed a week - you wore them out! Although when you are a Grandparent, I don't think you look at it the same way. What fun! How wonderful that they were able to be there to help.
Seriously, so much fun! It was wonderful to see all the great things the kids are doing, to share Mothers Day (thanks for the presents and flowers) and to hold little baby Matthew. We enjoyed every minute. Thanks for letting us come. Sorry Megan, it just didn't work for you to stow away in our suitcase. Mayebe next time!
I was wondering if anyone was coming to help! How fun for everyone to have Grandma and Grandpa there! If your kids are anything like mine, they'd rather have Grandma and Grandpa or Nana and Granddad over Adam and I any day! Glad they could come and were such a big help!

I love the last picture with all of the kids. Man they are the best to you guys....they really love your kids!!
Sounds like you need a full time nanny!
